What is Mesopeel?

Mesopeel Azelan is a specialized chemical peel targeting acneic skin with inflamed spots, blackheads, whiteheads, post-acne scarring, seborrhea, and rosacea. This treatment is suitable for various skin types. It offers benefits such as exfoliation, pore cleansing, inflammation reduction, and overall skin rejuvenation.

Pre-Procedure Guidelines

✅ 5–7 Days Before Treatment
Discontinue use of:

Retinoids, exfoliating acids (AHAs/BHAs), acne creams, and strong vitamin C serums

Avoid:
– Facials, waxing, threading, laser treatments, or exfoliating scrubs in the target area
– Tanning and prolonged sun exposure

Inform your provider if:
– You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or have a history of cold sores, rosacea flares, or sensitive skin conditions
– You are currently on oral acne medication (like isotretinoin)

✅ On the Day of Treatment
Arrive with clean, product-free skin

Avoid applying moisturizers, makeup, or sunscreen

Skip intense exercise, alcohol, and caffeine beforehand

Post Procedure Guidelines

✅ What to Expect
Skin may appear slightly pink or feel warm/tight immediately after

Mild flaking or dryness may begin within 1–3 days and last about 5–7 days

Inflammation, oiliness, and clogged pores gradually reduce with each session

🚫 Avoid for 5–7 Days
No makeup, active skincare ingredients (retinoids, acids, scrubs), or facial treatments

Avoid sweating, direct sun exposure, steam rooms, or saunas

Do not pick, peel, or scrub at flaking skin

✅ Recommended Aftercare
Use a gentle, non-foaming cleanser twice daily

Apply a fragrance-free moisturizer as needed

Protect skin daily with broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30+)

Use only post-procedure creams or serums provided/recommended by your doctor
