High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)

What is High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU)?

Non-Surgical Face Lifting & Lower Face Contouring
At The Raynald Center, we offer HIFU (High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound)—a doctor-supervised, non-invasive treatment that lifts, sculpts, and tightens your skin with precision and zero downtime.

Using focused ultrasound energy, HIFU penetrates deep into the skin’s foundational layers to stimulate collagen regeneration, tighten loose skin, and contour facial features. It’s the gold standard for non-surgical lifting—ideal for patients seeking visible yet natural results without needles or incisions.

What It Treats:
Mild to moderate skin laxity
Sagging jawline and jowls
Drooping eyelids or brows
Nasolabial folds
Neck lines and tech neck
Stubborn fat and puffiness on the lower face
Loss of definition in the jawline or chin

Why Choose HIFU at The Raynald Center?
Performed by Board-Certified Doctors
Every HIFU session is safely and precisely performed under medical supervision.

Lifts Without Surgery
No scalpel, no injections—just skin that looks tighter, younger, and more defined.

Targets the SMAS Layer
HIFU reaches the deep tissue layer that traditional facelifts treat, offering visible lifting without downtime.

Contours the Lower Face
Ultrasound energy helps melt stubborn fat in the lower cheeks and jowl area, slimming and refining the jawline.

Boosts Natural Collagen
Improves skin elasticity, tone, and firmness over time by stimulating your own collagen production.

Anyone wanting a more sculpted jawline without surgery or downtime

Pre-Procedure Guidelines

Prepare your skin to maximize results and ensure a smooth experience.

✅ 1 Week Before
Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning. Skin should not be inflamed, sunburned, or recently exfoliated.

Discontinue aggressive skincare products, including retinoids, acids, or strong brighteners (unless advised otherwise).

Inform your doctor if you have metal implants in the treatment area, a pacemaker, or any underlying skin or neurological conditions.

Hydrate well. Well-hydrated skin responds better to ultrasound energy.

✅ 24–48 Hours Before
Refrain from alcohol and smoking, which may impair collagen synthesis.

Avoid dermal fillers, Botox, or other energy-based procedures (unless spaced appropriately as directed by your provider).

✅ Day of Treatment
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin. Do not apply lotions, SPF, or serums before your appointment.

Eat a light meal before your session. HIFU is a comfortable but intensive treatment and may last 45–90 minutes depending on the area.

Dress comfortably. Loose clothing is ideal if treating the lower face and neck.

Post Procedure Guidelines

Your skin will continue to tighten and lift in the weeks following treatment. Gentle care supports optimal healing and collagen production.

✅ Immediately After
Mild redness, tenderness, or swelling may occur and typically subsides within hours.

Slight tingling, tightness, or soreness (especially along the jawline or cheekbones) is normal and may last a few days.

Avoid touching or massaging the treated area unless instructed otherwise.

✅ First 24–48 Hours
Avoid applying makeup or harsh skincare.

Skip saunas, hot baths, and strenuous workouts to reduce inflammation.

Apply cool compresses if needed for comfort (avoid ice directly on skin).

Stay hydrated and eat nourishing foods to support collagen regeneration.

✅ First 3–7 Days
Resume gentle skincare and broad-spectrum SPF 50+ sunscreen.

Avoid facial massages, high-heat facials, or other energy-based treatments during this time.

✅ Long-Term Care
Results build gradually over 4–12 weeks as collagen regenerates.

One treatment may be enough for mild to moderate laxity; others may benefit from additional sessions after 6–12 months.

For optimal sculpting and definition, HIFU may be paired with treatments like Morpheus8, Skin Boosters, Exosomes, or Dermal Fillers—all under doctor guidance.
