Acne Facial

What is Acne Facial?

A deep-cleansing treatment targeting congestion, breakouts, and inflammation. Perfect for acne-prone skin, this facial calms irritation while promoting a clearer, more balanced complexion.

Pre-Procedure Guidelines

To ensure the best results and minimize skin sensitivity, please follow these instructions before your Acne Facial:

✅ 1 Week Before Treatment
Avoid exfoliating products: Stop using retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or any strong exfoliants.

Discontinue acne medications (if applicable): Check with your dermatologist if you’re on oral or topical acne treatments like Accutane or tretinoin.

✅ 3 Days Before Treatment
No facial waxing or threading: These can irritate the skin before a deep-cleansing treatment.

Avoid tanning or sun exposure: Sunburnt or overly sensitive skin cannot be safely treated.

✅ Day of Treatment
Come with clean skin: No makeup or skincare products.

Hydrate: Drink plenty of water to support skin healing and detox.

Post Procedure Guidelines

After your facial, your skin may be slightly red or sensitive. These aftercare steps will help you heal and maximize your results:

✅ First 24–48 Hours
Avoid touching or picking the skin: Let the skin heal naturally to avoid scarring or further breakouts.

Skip active ingredients: No retinol, AHAs, BHAs, or benzoyl peroxide.

Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer: Stick to mild, fragrance-free products.

Apply sunscreen: Your skin will be more sensitive to the sun—SPF 30+ is a must.

✅ 3–5 Days Post-Treatment
Avoid harsh scrubs or treatments: Let your skin fully recover before resuming exfoliation or active skincare.

Stay out of direct sun and heat (saunas, hot yoga, etc.): These can irritate post-facial skin.

✅ Ongoing Care
Stick to a simple skincare routine: Consistency is key for acne-prone skin.

Schedule regular treatments: For best results, acne facials are recommended every 4–6 weeks.
