Salicylic Acid Peel

What is Salicylic Acid Peel?

Salicylic acid peels serve as effective treatments for deeply exfoliating the skin’s surface layers. By breaking down the bonds between skin cells, salicylic acid prompts their shedding or peeling. This process leads to skin regeneration, resulting in a rejuvenated appearance.

Pre-Procedure Guidelines

✅ 5–7 Days Before Your Appointment
Stop using:

Retinoids, AHAs/BHAs, vitamin C serums, benzoyl peroxide, and other active exfoliants.

Avoid:
– Waxing, threading, facial scrubs, or laser treatments in the treatment area.
– Excessive sun exposure and tanning.

Let your provider know if you:
– Have a history of cold sores, sensitive skin, or allergies to aspirin.
– Are pregnant or breastfeeding.
– Are on Accutane (must be stopped for at least 6 months before peels).

✅ Day of Treatment
Arrive with clean, makeup-free skin.

Do not apply lotions, sunscreen, or skincare products before your appointment.

Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and intense workouts prior to your peel.
